In brief: The food is good, but worth $19 for the lunch special? Maybe yes, maybe no, depends on how much of your allowance has already been blown that week.

The interesting thing about the restaurants in the Flatiron is that the proportion of the dining rooms are generally the same, long deep spaces with high ceilings. At Devi they purposely (or not) lower the ceiling by dangling clusters of brightly colored lights, I liked it. We had the pretty decent $19 lunch special, though that's still a bit too expensive for everyday lunching.
