In brief: A lovely place to have a lovely meal with a girlfriend. On a first visit, nothing outrageously outstanding though the oysters are yuuuummy.


I'd never been to The John Dory but Doori was happy to meet me there. She recommended the parker house rolls (wow delicious), the sea urchin and of course we had oysters. We also tried something neither of us had heard of before, kedgeree, which ended up being a rather nice smoked haddock and rice dish. I might have to look for more versions.
