In brief: A nice find today at Osteria del Principe, reasonable prices for properly cooked pasta and nicely flavored sauces.

We had a bit of long path to lunch today that started with trying Indikitch (the line still runs the length of the store), then Eataly (what a joke, more lines) and just as we're about to head into Schnipper's, I spot a sign outside Osteria del Principe just ahead. What a nice find! Though the service was a little slow, aka Italian, the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauces had good flavor. I don't know if it's everyday but today a soup or salad came with the pasta entrees, making the lunch portion very nicely filling. Plus I love a good chopped salad.
