I don't know what happened to our sense of timing today. We left the office well in advance of an afternoon meeting, but the train was late, the restaurant a block further away, a wait to sit down and so as I'm just starting to dig into a huge bowl of stamina soba, I casually ask M. what time it is. What a bad question as it was apparently enough time to shovel another 5 bites, ask for the check and dash out of there. Sigh. I hate rushing.
