In brief: I'm glad there is one more taco option in the neighborhood, and a nice one at that, but the prices are could be a little friendly for regular consumption.
We always liked the Tacombi downtown at the Fonda Nolita and I was really looking forward to the breakfast chorizo tacos at the new one, Cafe El Presidente. No chorizo and potatoes on this menu, instead there are taco plate entrees coming with 4 small-ish size tacos. The whole affair is not super cheap, or even regular cheap, so I suspect we will not be dining here on so frequently, but it's still nice to have one more Mexican place in the hood. Now if only someone would open a Xi'an Famous Foods or a Mission Chinese, or even one of those hole in the walls selling fried chicken legs over rice.
