In brief: I had a feeling that we always ended up at Homes on Mondays or rainy days, which says a lot about how we feel for their string beans (i.e. comforting), but actually the interwebs says it's much more random than that.

The string beans were a shade less delicious than normal, but the mapo tofu precisely the same as it always is.
