In brief: The service is classically slow in that European mode of things, but a relatively nice place to have Belgian style french fries, they're good, and a properly dressed salad. 
We had gotten all excited about getting omelets for lunch, but there aren't actually any omelets on the menu at BXL Zoute, I don't know why not. Nothing appealed to M. so I forced her to split a steak frites and house salad. It was a nicely charred steak and the french fries are good so I'm going to say that was a win. This picture looks a lot sadder than it tasted.
