In brief: Lunch is a self service buffet affair, but at night Forger's is a proper restaurant. 
M. highly recommends going for dinner at the Chelsea branch of Forger's, or even brunch. We stopped by for a slightly above average lunch, which, at the end of the day, is still just a buffet of a couple hot meats, starchy sides and a salad bar. The roast chicken is super delicious with everything else ok. But the roast chicken is so super delicious that it's worth picking up the next time you're hosting a dinner party and are too pressed for time to cook. Or for Sunday suppers like we used to have at my cousin's in France.
